DNA test on residents to start from March 2017

Tuesday, September 27, 2016

DNA test on citizens, residents and visitors will be conducted starting from March 2017, local news paper Al-Shahed daily reported quoting sources at the Ministry of Interior.

The results of the DNA and information gathered is confidential and can only be used upon the request of the Public Prosecution and the judicial authorities, daily added.

With this plan, Kuwait is set to become the first country in the world to require all its citizens, visitors and expatriates to provide DNA samples for the government’s database.

This is absurd....DNA sample is very confidential and cannot be taken by any government unless it is specifically required by the law enforcement agency and that is why Kuwait will be the first country to collect DNA. Nothing to be proud of. idiots
