Maveli Nadu Art Lovers conducted Onam celebrations on Friday 21 October 2016 at Udayam Pary hall Mehabulla. Shri. Sakir Puthenpalathu President Mavelinadu welcomed the audience and inaugurated the Onam celebrations by lighting the traditional lamp. Shri. – Thomas Mathew gave felicitation speeches. Arts convener Shri Manoj Roy expressed the Vote thanks.
The day long programs were started with “Attapookkalam and Ona Sadya”, which portrayed the taste and beauty of Kerala. The cultural programs began with a procession at 10:00 AM and lasted till 05:00 PM included variety of performance by association members and a stage show by renowned artists in Kuwait. It was notable that the association could ignite the spirit and enthusiasm of Onam far away from home land.
The program was convened by association executives Shaji chengannur, Aniyan kunnu,Ganesh,Francis,Razik,Sreejith,Surendran,Ancy,Reshmi,Shirly,and Usha Raman.
Everyone enjoyed the day recalling the time of a great King who ruled with equability and poise, without any difference in caste creed and religion.
