All-important festivals and occasions are celebrated with such gaiety and revelry in the primary section of Bhavan’s Indian Educational School. All classes gather in the auditorium together to celebrate Eid, Christmas, Diwali, Teacher’s day, Gandhi Jayanthi and so on.. Our school assembly programs foster a sense of togetherness and unity among all students and convey strong messages. Children learn values for a life time which reflect upon universal values such as love, peace, truth, co-operation and respect. The most important factor of our school assembly is wholeness—the participation of a whole class where every class teacher makes sure every student goes up on stage to be an integral part of the program. This has the potential to nurture and maintain a positive school culture that stresses interpersonal intelligence
Christmas in IES Bhavans, Kuwait has breezed in, during the week (from 18th to 21st December) when the tiny tots of the primary section lived it up on the dais. Dazzling carols, jingling bells, glistening tinsels, shimmering pine trees, twinkling baubles and the starlets glorified the angelic poise of the little Joseph’s and Mary’s apologue. The red big nosed Rudolph with a click, a clack and a great big pack fascinated the young spectators by his frenzy twists and twirls. The children of Grade 1,2 and 3 put up skits depicting the story of Jesus spreading the universal message of love and compassion. Santa Claus appeared on the stage distributing chocolates to our kids. The dancers clad in gorgeous attire mesmerized the audience with their rhythmic movements.
To add up to the sweetness of Christmas Carols, Vice principal, Mrs. Lalitha Premkumar narrated a thought-provoking rattling story for the kids. It indeed became a magnanimous occasion when the Principal, Mr. Premkumar addressed the young Bhavanites and reminded them the significance of harmony, tolerance and compassion in their life and wished the children, their parents and the staff greetings for the occasion and the NEW YEAR 2017.
