A spectacular and colorful assembly was conducted by the kindergarten and pre-kg wing of IES, PEARLS and JACK AND JILL to celebrate Christmas and mark the end of 2016.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Children looked delighted wearing the Santa Caps and a wave of cheer enveloped the school surroundings. As the children squealed with glee in the special assembly enjoying Christmas celebration, the atmosphere brightened with a Christmas tree, stars, balloons, music and dance with Santa Claus. The assembly culminated with a dance put up by the little ones dressed in red and spread the feeling of cheer and joy amongst all present there.

This was followed by a class party where the message of sharing and caring was actually put into practice as the children shared their food with their friends. Art work depicting Christmas celebrations was prepared and taken home by the children. As the school closed for winter break, each child left with a feeling of joy, peace and love towards his/her fellow classmates.
