8,875 employees absent on Dec 29

Civil Service Commission (CSC) disclosed that a total of 8,875 employees including 633 non Kuwaitis in all public institutions abstained from duty on December 29,

2016 – the last working day of 2016.

CSC explained that 273 employees were absent without giving excuse, 986 obtained emergency leave, 312 took sick leave without pay and 5,087 obtained sick leave with pay.

This happens many times in a year before eid and govt holidays and this is more with local employees /// Non locals will do rightly and will take leave what is balance with prior approval from their managers.
So we digest everything ???
