A bomb threat on Sunday forced a Germany-bound passenger flight from Oman to land in Kuwait.
Eurowings had 299 passengers onboard and took off from Salalah, Oman en route to Cologne, Germany, DGCA's spokesman Mansour Al-Hashemi told KUNA.
He added that captain of the plane requested an emergency landing at Kuwait International Airport in accordance with required safety regulations.
According to Al-Hashemi, initial investigations confirmed the plane was explosives-free.
