No plan to deport expats, clarifies Minister

“The government does not intend to deport expatriates from this country”, says the State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah in an attempt to dissipate fears over forced deportation of expatriates from the country.

According to Arab Times report, minister said that the existing vibes in this regard are related to the file concerning rectification of the imbalance of population

structure through organizational measures which will only affect marginal and unproductive labor force that represent the cause of this population crisis.

Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah stressed that the statements or reports over possible move to deport thousands of expatriates were not issued by the government. Any decision concerning the expatriate labor force will be taken in accordance with the law as well as in consideration of humanitarian aspects, he added.

Dear govt plese stop bring expat more and more dumping without job ,please choose workers from local market and allowed to work part time legally then automatically reduced expats population,and illegal activities ,because we are expats are cannot to be setteled our own country give us chance to steady their life because we are stuggle and stuck in both countrys here ,and our own country

Alhamdulillah no plans to deport but to full plans to harass expats is in full swing.it is the expats who are whole hearted working for this country but the locals are a jealous lot.

those who are against expats, I would request the Kuwaiti government not allow them to have expat khadims,drivers and cooks in such houses or at least they must deport their expat home workers. then let us hear if they are against expats??
