Telangana Minister to visit Kuwait to get insight on labour market

A high level members of Telangana Overseas Manpower Co., Ltd (TOMCOM) lead by Hon’ble Minister for Labour Government of Telangana Mr Sri N. Nayini Narasimha Reddy will be visiting Kuwait to get an insight on the labour market and create awareness among the Kuwaiti employers with regard to the services being provided by the Telangana Overseas Manpower Co.

Telangana Government incorporated Telangana Overseas Manpower Co., Limited (TOMCOM) in 2015 to curb illegal activities of private recruitment agencies. The Board of Directors of TOMCOM is headed by Sri N. Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of labour, Government of Telangana State and Chairman of the Company. Telangana Government Principal Secretary of Labour & Employment is the Vice-Chairman and Director Employment & Training is the Managing Director. The board also includes Principal Secretary Home.

Taking advantage of the vast employment opportunities in Gulf countries and to curb the exploitation of private recruiting agencies, TOMCOM had successfully conducted recruitment activities for people from Telangana state to various private and government establishments.

The Minister and team will be in Kuwait on Saturday January 21, 2017 and will be meeting various stake holders at Indian Embassy.
