Move to deport expat laborers once their project is completed

Thursday, March 16, 2017

Government would work on mandating employers to deport expat laborers as soon as their mission concludes, as well as ban residency transfers for those terminated, local daily Kuwait Times reported.

The daily also reported that “Visit visas will be soon controlled once the parliament passes imposing health insurance fees on visitors.”

Daily quoting sources reported that the government would provide lawmakers with plans to do away with expat administrative employees in various government sectors, but stressed that it would be difficult to do the same with technical and specialized ones like doctors, teachers and nurses. The report also said that it would be impossible to rely on bedoons to replace expats because they are mostly not specialized or trained.

I think Indian Government is busy filling their pockets. They are not worried for Indians working in Kuwait. Kuwait is heading to a big disaster. Good Luck Kuwait.

Govt. of Kuwait will commit a great mistake by hiring bedoons to replace expats & especially Indians. Kuwait has a long way to go before taking drastic decisions. Decisions without proper analysis of the situation will lead to economical chaos. The country will witness an economic disaster if they bound to act unwisely.
