Painting exhibition by artist Sunil Pookkode portrays nostalgia, memories

Exhibition of paintings on the line of 'Memories' by artist Sunil Pookkode took the audience to delve into their nostalgia and how memories change over time.

Well known Indian artist in Kuwait Sunil Pookkode displayed more than 40 of his selected paintings on the theme 'Memories' at a unique exhibition at United Indian School, Abbasiya. The exhibition was earlier inaugurated by John Thomas, the Manager of United Indian School Abbasiya in presence of large gathering.

His series takes its inspiration from the memories of his child hood. Large number of public visited the two day exhibition held on Friday and Saturday at the school premises.

While visiting the exhibition, visitors find themselves going back to the memories of their childhood. Moments once lost in the past are captured and brought back to life in the paintings by the artist. Sunil Pookkode has not only captured his own recollections through paint, but also an overarching message of nostalgia. Each of his paintings displayed at the exhibition is an exact replica of what we witnessed in our olden days.
