Large number of Christians living in Kuwait celebrated Easter yesterday. Thousands of worshipers flocked to the Holy Family Cathedral, in downtown Kuwait City to celebrate of the Resurrection of Jesus.
The Ministry of the Interior had tightened securities at the places of worship and surrounding areas in anticipation of any emergency. Police patrols and personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department are stationed in some several places of worship as a precaution measure to prevent any tampering with the security of the country.
A special service was held at the churches in Kuwait city and Salmiya where large number of Indians attended the ceremony.
