The LKG Orientation programme was conducted at the Indian Community School Kuwait-Junior

LKG Orientation 2017 on 9th April, 2017. The Principal of ICSK Junior, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, in her welcome address, stressed on the importance of the orientation programme which aims to make the parents feel welcome.

Their anxieties are addressed and they are assured that their children will get the best education and care.

She emphasized the role of parents in emotional stability of their children, which was an eye opener for many. Vice Principal Mrs. C. Sheeja, the supervisor of the Pre-primary section, Mrs. Shafika Yunus and all the Class Teachers of the LKG were introduced to the parents.

The UKG children welcomed the new LKG students warmly. It was a pleasant surprise for the parents when four of the LKG students were called on the stage by the Principal as it was their birthday.

In order to give a better understanding of the school policies and rules, Mrs. C. Sheeja, Vice Principal gave valuable guidelines, familiarizing the parents with what was expected from the children as well as the parents.

After the orientation the children were seated in their respective class rooms for an hour. It was a great opportunity for the children to know their teachers and for the parents to know about the school.
