Obituary: O. S Chandy

Indian national Mr. O. S Chandy passed away in India on Monday 15th May at the age of 76. He had been working in Kuwait from 1971 till 2010.

Mr. Chandy worked as Senior Optometrist at Matin Optics initially before setting up his own businesses Inter Optics and Vision Centre in partnership with his brother Mr. George Zachariah. He had settled back in Manganam, Kottayam, Kerala and was ill for the last 3 years.

He leaves behind his wife Mrs. Rachel Chandy, who was working at the Ministry of Social Affairs and his children Sheena (spouse of Bennie Alexander, currently residing in USA), Dr. Sherry Chandy (spouse of Dr. Ann Chandy, currently residing in USA) and Sam Chandy (spouse of Vineetha Sam, currently residing in Bangalore, India).

Funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Kuriannoor, Kerala.

Condolences to his family...
Hi Brian..Might be you don't have much life experience in Kuwait..He is the owner of Vision Center located near maliya post office and he server people ,I have brought a glass from him.
I left Kuwait around 4 years back and living in another country.It is good that this kind of information help the news to spread not only in Kuwait But in around the world..Keep posting such news.all the best IIK.
