ICS Presented real Music “ Maahi Ve”

On 13th April, Pioneer & Producer of regular hit shows in Kuwait, Indian Cultural Society presented Kuwait with a fabulous musical show featuring Richa Sharma, the Queen of Sufi Music AIS . A group of committed individuals, the ICS has always worked hard to provide the expatriate community from the subcontinent with top class quality entertainment. With their recent show 'Maahi Ve' with Richa Sharma, the association went a step forward and once again achieved the impossible. They presented the crowd with four hours of melody from the artist who mesmerized the audience with her versatility, range of voice, sense of humor & electrifying stage presence. Richa Sharma, who has given some of the biggest hits in India in recent times showed her commitment to melody and good lyrics with her selection of songs that spanned all possible genres. A consummate artist, she went a step forward and gave original touches to already familiar songs. And with professional panache and humor, she kept the crowd on their toes and in their seats until the very end. The event was graced by main sponsor M. Sharif Rangrez (Chairman -Eternity Travels & Tours) and Nitin Singhvi (Vice President- ATC) and other dignitaries and prominent members of the Indian community. The show was anchored by Mr Ashfaq Khan, President of ICS, a man of multifarious talent. The star singer ably accompanied by bollywood band, while co singer Prithvi Gandharv, a young commercially successful artist mesmerized the crowd with his renditions. To promote young talent in Kuwait, the ICS also provided a platform to the Dancing Divas whose young dancers gave energetic and inspiring performances along with a song from the young talent, Safa Khan. In the same series Kaisar Khan & Yaseer Ali has performed beautiful songs. Also renowned organizer Anant Kapadia ji sung two songs in the memory of legend Mukesh. Event Souvenir was released in the presence of eminent guests & sponsors , among are P.Hardikar ( CFO- Murad Yusuf Behbehani group), Kaid Johar ( GM- Al Zahem & Malhotra ), Jatin Sahni ( MD- OBTC ), Sudhir Sukumar & Jacob V ( Doha Bank) Ajaz Ahmed (MD- Sahara Ac Co), Mrs. Balwinder Sing, Minhaj Shikari, Sunoj Nambiar ( IIK), Usman Choudhry ( KwtuptoDate), Chaitali B Roy ( Arab Times), Mrs. Bilqees Mukaddam ( Ktv2) & RM of Oriental Insurance Siddhart Mukharjee etc. They spoke of Indo Kuwait friendship, cultural exchange, and contribution of India to the world and appreciated ICS efforts to promote art and culture along with campaign for “Noble cause & welfare services”. They praised the tremendous efforts & congratulated Ashfaque A Khan president Indian Cultural Society for his continue mission. ICS maintaining its uniqueness, to brings legends among the community. Artists received standing ovation and ICS presented mementos to them.

ICS has organized Theatrical bonanza in Jan- Feb & now it was sweet gift to the community by “ Maahi Ve”.

This was ICS presented high techno, superb stage decor & well organized event in Kuwait. With this very successful show, ICS raised the benchmark for itself.

General secretary Abizar Badshah ensured all control & best hospitality with refreshments to the Platinum lounges. The ICS president expressed his gratitude to all executives of ICS, volunteers, event supporters, Techno staff, including best sound & lights Mr. Rocky Arora, Subin Philip (Digital & Video), Mr. Shahzad Ahmed & Mukesh Nair (photography) Harendra Vansh (web & live media coverage), Shamim & Aurangzeb (transport) also thanks to Kuwait Today, Kuwait NRI, q8, Kuwaitup2date and Indians Frontliners.

Creative head Preeti Malhotra has played vital role to make coordination of green room & back stage process with Shahzad Choudhry, Aditi Singh & Mustafa. Card distribution & audience taken care by Bharat Abhyankar & S. Mukharjee. Auditorium management & guest taken care by senior executives Syed Anwar Raja, Nikki Shawhney, Anu Singh, Awais Khan, Nitu Singh & Sajjad Sayeed. Stars management was handled by Harpreet Malhotra and Ashfaque A Khan. Security control by special commandoes of Marafi Kuwaitia ensured the success of the show. Mr. Khan has announced the next theatrical & musical event with high rank artist in coming months.
