Police officers to issue on the spot traffic citations

Thursday, May 18, 2017

The Ministry of Interior has instructed officers assigned in the Public Security Department to promptly issue citations for traffic violations in places where erring motorists are asked to stop, instead of making them follow the officers to the police station or accompanying them to the police station.

According to Al-Rai news paper, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahem Al-Tarah stressed in the circular distributed to the officers that the decision is in line with Procedures Law Number 17/1960 and its amendments.

The police officers never talk proper, they write what ever they want in Arabic which is not known to non Arabs. They took the signature at gun point and flew away with license. When we go to maroor or visit in the website only able to know serious charges levied against us. At that time we can't do anything except go and plead the officers and without our licence for a month or so they will release it.

Most of the officers are writing chalans just to fill their books. If any higher officer able to analyze the violations he can understood what is happening.

However we can't do anything just post some thing here and releave from our frustration.

This is very good,my bad experience,is one year one Police man was dipping the light, i thought to give him the way,so i give,as i was in slow track, again later he came and stopped me on spot and made standing 4 hours in Sun,Its Last Ramadan when i asked him whats my mistake he dont even spoke me in proper way, and after 4 hours he told me to follow again he made me to wait 3 hours and took my Car and parked in Yard and after 1hour he give me the challan mentioning that because of me the whole traffic was jammed.Still i remember his Car Number, without reason he made me,i waited for 10days to get my car and i paid 20kd +10 Kd for the Yard, when i went to Marur to pay and take the Car release paper again they made 2 days delayed, everyday i used to go 6.45am and wait till 12.30pm the answer is Taal Bukhra. Its really very painful time for me.

Recently one Citizen College Student hit my Car and when i stopped he told me you want to call POlice call nothing can be Happen, and he ran dint give me the money also nor he repaired.

One time my car was not working it stopped in Desert Area it was too much high Sandstorm, One Angle Police Man came and helped me lotz, he just mentioned me one word Believe in Allah you will be given everything what you deserve, i Salute that Angle Police Man.May Allah Bless him.

This is not something new ..It was always given on the spot ...this ticket . but it is better on the spot
then when we renew our car registration at the Muru and then they say there is fine and we ask them the time and when and where it was .In return we cannot get a clear explanation becoz his personal phone conversation has to be finished as then the answer from them is either I do not know OR go to that room or this room and this and that Mudir .. by the time the counter will be closed or i am getting late for my work and then we are forced to pay with whatever amount is told ...
