Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced that the Post-Result CBSE counselling will begin from 28th May and continue till 11th June daily from 8 am to 10 pm on all days.
CBSE also appointed the principal of Bharatheeya Vidya Bhavan Mr T Premkumar and Dr. V. Binumon, Principal of the Indian Community School as the counselors in Kuwait to provide counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class X and XII results.
The CBSE counselling is an outreach programme which is carefully designed keeping the heterogeneity of student’s population and geographical spread. CBSE Tele counselling is largely offered by trained counsellors and Principals from within CBSE affiliated schools located in India and outside India. It is a voluntary and free of cost service provided by the participants.
Out of these 65 expert volunteers including Principals, trained counsellors, and special educators from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and psychologists, 47 are from India including 2 special educators, while 18 experts are located in Nepal, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar, Jeddah), Sultanate of Oman, UAE (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah), Kuwait, Singapore and Qatar. Mr. T. Premkumar can be contacted on 66231493 and Dr Binumon is reachable on 94784839 from 8 PM to 10 PM for students and parents for post result counselling. The compartment exam will be held soon for the students who failed in just one subject and they too will need guidance.
