Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School (DPS) organised an educational trip to KITCO for the commerce students of grades 11, 12, and IGCSE on the 4th of May, 2017.

Kuwait Indo Trading Co., popularly known as KITCO, was established 50 years ago in 1962. KITCO is well known for its state-of-the-art production facilities, world class quality controlled, standards and relentless research in product development.

The students experienced first-hand the entire process of potato chips production starting from the raw potatoes to the packed packets of chips. The tour was led by one of the KITCO representatives who explained everything relating to the production in detail. They were also given a tour of the baking section which produced cream biscuits.

They got the opportunity to clear their doubts with the production manager- Mr. Arjun Basantani who explained every question with examples that students could understand and relate to.

It was indeed an informative tour for the students as they got to learn the entire process of how the various products are processed. As they left, KITCO also handed out huge packages of about 8-9 products of theirs, as a souvenir to every student.
