Prominent NRI association from Ernakulam district,the financial capital of Kerala, KERA (Kuwait Ernakulam Residents Association), conducted IFTHAR 2017 atat Abbassiya on 2nd June 2017 at 5:30PM.

KERA President Mr.Benny.K.O presided the session. KERA Abbassiya conveenor member Mr.Liju.M.Gopi welcomed all the invitees. Mr.Ashruf Ekarool (faculty of American Creativity Academy) delivered ifthaar message. Rev.Pr.Aji Thomas (Sharon fellowship church), Shri.P.V.Vijayaraghavan (organizing secretary of Bharathiya Pravasi Parishad), KERA General Secretary Mr.Bobby Paul Joy, KERA Treasurer Mr.Sebastian Peter etc. delivered felicitation. KERA Social welfare convenor Mr.Nazeer Sheikh thanked all the participants of the programme.

The custom “Nombu Thura” was carried out with ifthaar kits distributed and delicious Ifthaar dinner was also served to all the attendees including family members of KERA and representatives of prominent media groups of Kuwait. All the arrangements were co-ordinated and supported by KERA's volunteer team by Mr.Dennis John,Anoop Aravind,Douglas Figrus,Theressa Antony,Rajesh Mathew etc. to make the program a great success.
