Officials of Mavelikara Association Visited Indian Ambassador

Officials of Mavelikara Association Kuwait under the leadership of President Mr. Binoy Chandran, visited Indian Ambassador in connection with the upcoming 15th Annual Celebration and Onam Program "Chinganilavu-2017" to be held on 22 September 2017.

During the interaction with His Excellency various social issues pertaining to the Indian community were discussed.

The fare hike on air tickets during the seasonal periods,issue of emission of poisonous gaseous from workshop's operating illegally creating illness in children, illegal rent hike to be brought under the notice of Kuwait government, the possibility of official news being published in the Embassy website's to avoid spreading of hoax news which creates fear in the minds of common people and several other such major issues were discussed.

His Excellency Sunil Jain stated that any help which shall fall under the limits of the embassy shall be provided to the Indian community without fail.

To a question, His Excellency stated that there was no unusual delays for sending bodies of dead people back to homeland.

Advisory Board Member Mr. A.I. Kurian, Joint Secretary Mr. Mathew Philip, Vice President Ms. Pournami Sangeeth, Ladies wing General Secretary Ms. Tiji Mathew, Program Convenor Mr. Sangeeth Somanath,Program committee members Mr. Manoj Parimanam,Mr.Francis Cherukole, Mr. Sudareshan Pillai and Mr. Mathew Karoor where present in the meeting.
