Writers’ Forum Kuwait organizing Multi-Lingual Kavi Sammelan and Mushaira

The Writers' Forum of Kuwait (WFK), under the aegis of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait is organising a Multi-Lingual Kavi Sammelan and Mushaira in the Embassy Auditorium on August 18, 2017 from 6.00 pm onwards.

In continuation of the celebrations to commemorate the Independence Day which the nation celebrates on August 15th, the WFK and the Indian Embassy will jointly be lauing the spirit of Unity that defines India. The WFK is a multi-lingual platform for writers and poets who reside in Kuwait and the members shall recite their original poetry in eleven Indian Languages. A translation in Hindi shall be read for the poetry recited in regional languages such as Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Malyalam, Sanskrit, and Oriya.

All the members of the Indian community are invited to attend the literary fiesta and relish the true spirit of diversity that gives India a distinguished status in the world.
