Amar Cricket Club presents Dawood A. H. Bebal Memorial Trophy

The opening ceremony of Dawood A. H. Bebal Memorial Trophy hosted by Amar Cricket Club, Kuwait took place at the Reggai Cricket ground on 27th of October 2017 at 6:30 am. The guest of honor for the opening ceremony were Mr. Kasim Bebal, Mr. Akram Bebal, Mr. Sharfuddin Bebal, Mr. Mohsin Rajiwate, Mr. Khalid Bebal, Mr. Khalid Rajiwate, Mr. Shiraj Khadas, Mr. Shoaib Surve, Mr. Khalid Khadas, Mr. Asif Rumani, etc.





The proceedings started with recital verses from Al-Quran Al-Kareem followed by a small ribbon cutting ceremony. The proceedings ended with the tournament officially being declared open in the presence of the captains of both teams, Chiplun Tigers (Suhail Dalwai) and Dabhil Cricket Club (Ibrahim Mullaji) by tossing the coin in the center of the pitch.

Dawood A. H. Bebal Memorial Trophy will be played amongst 16 cricketing teams. Each game is limited to 8 overs (2 overs power play), maximum 2 overs per bowler. Each team will play 2 league matches followed by pre-quarters, quarters, semi-finals, and the grand Final. Top 11 Teams will qualify for knockout stage. The grand Final will be held at Boulevard Cricket Ground on 24th of November 2017 at 06:00 PM and thereafter the Prize Distribution Ceremony.





On the first day, the Man of the Match awards were presented to Ibrahim Mullaji (Dabhil Cricket Club), Imran Kaskar (Pag Warriors), Nadish Rawoot (Al-Qawi Cricket Club), Fouad Bebal (Amar Cricket Club), Asif Bebal (Chiplun Fighters) and Adil Chilwan (Jeete Cricket Club).
