Indian Central School Celebrates Gandhi Jayanti

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, Indian Central School paid homage to Gandhiji, the ‘Father of the Nation’. The programme included a speech by Blesson on Mahatma Gandhi and his contributions to India followed by a dance performance by students of grade II. Mohammed Khan and Danish Abdullah Khurshid dressed as Mahatma Gandhi and Chacha Nehru conveyed the message of peace and non – violence . Grade 1 students, in the attire of political leaders of different parts of the country brought in the feeling of oneness and showcased the unity of India in diversity .The programme concluded with a PowerPoint presentation on Gandhiji and his life.

The Vice Principal of Primary Wing too conveyed the message of peace and non-violence on the occasion and extended sincere gratitude to the Principal Dr. Shantha Maria James for providing a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Gandhi Jayanthi.
