Smart Indian School had all doors opened to welcome the esteemed invitee, Colonel S. Vijayan - Director , SCFE for a session on “Career Guidance for Military Officers” tinged with motivation, stressing on his wilful connectedness shown for the profession of salience: Military, on 5th November, 2017 in the school auditorium. The session had its wide opening with the Principal’s address on the valiant achievement of the great personality as the name rightly goes with “Born to succeed” in his mission of career procurement.

The speaker had a great content to address the students in their formative years of their education about the duty of every patriotic lover and stressed on imbibing this as their rudiments of life. The students were exposed to the examination scheme, power of expression, physical fitness and psychological balance that are a paramount entity culminated in the field of service to a country. The students were also inspired through a multiple career options chosen by the common men turning into undaunted fighter pilots, soldiers in battle etc. The speaker after having been served in different roles as Commissioner Service of Indian Army for 34 years and in legal profession, has now ventured to groom the students who aspire for various service roles by heading a coaching academy in defense courses.

Hence, the whole time witnessed an unprecedented imparting of military services to this middle school age group of students. The session ended with a thank you note by the Principal coupled with the memento presentation of a portrait to the motivator as a sign of SIS hospitality.
