2.437 million traffic violations recorded; KD 50.107 million collected as fine

General Traffic Department statistics show that the authorities recorded 2.437 million violations from the beginning of the year until the end of last October.

According to Al-Jarida daily, the violations include 970,000 direct violations and 1.467 million indirect recorded by the traffic monitoring cameras, which roughly works out to 8,333 violations per day.

The report also added that an amount of KD 50.107 million was collected as fine during this period.

147 expatriates were deported during this period for driving without license.

Agreed with Human Being . Also no markings for kilometers on major roads. At least govt shall spent 25% earned from hefty fines (taxes) by traffic department to improve road conditions.
Another major issue is outdated traffic signals.

Great Job, but what about the Roads, which is not in good Condition,30 Road is really bad condition,so many accidents just because of Roads, which is not good,there is no proper inspection team to check the roads,no one cares about the Public, just care about fine,penalising ect, but development of roads nothing is happening.we can the road asphalts stones, because of this Front glasses are getting damaged,tires getting damage & etc.But no one cares.
