ICS Presents “Yaad Aa Rahi Hai”

Pioneer of quality entertainment & producer of regular hit shows, Indian Cultural Society presented “Yaad Aa Rahi Hai” on Friday 2nd February with legendry playback singer AMIT KUMAR & live band Sargam Stars. Also attraction of the evening was renowned co singer Sayra Khan, standup comedian Rajeev Malhotra & Kuwait’s own talents.
The event was officially inaugurated under permission of H.E. Shri Jeeva Sagar, Ambassador of India to Kuwait & Middle East actor cum director Dawood Hussain. H. E. Ambassador highly acclaimed the efforts of Mr. Khan & assured for all best possible support .Event Souvenir was released in the presence of senior citizen, business tycoon & sponsors of the event.

Jam packed auditorium was witnessed for 4 hours nonstop unique event of the year presented by ICS. Lovely kids from Aartshala have started the event with their extra ordinary performance followed by tribute dance performance from The Fusion Academy. Mukesh of Kuwait, Anant Kapadia sang two favorite songs for the audience.
Filmfare award winner Amit Kumar known as an Indian Playback Singer, Film Actor, Music & Film Director, Film & Music Producer, Musician & Singer who known for his work in Bollywood and Bengali films. Amit Kumar enjoyed greater success during the 80's and initial 90's, becoming the signature voice for actors like Kumar Gaurav, Anil Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and other actors.

He shared an excellent rapport with R.D Burman producing songs including 'Bade Achche Lagte Hai','Kya Hua Iek Baat Par”, ‘Maang- Loonga Mai Tujhe Taqdeer Se', 'Ye Zameen Ga Rahi Hai', 'Roz Roz Aankhon Tale', 'Jaaneman Jaanejigar' and a number of his songs appeared in various Bollywood films. His popular songs included ‘Aji Suniye Zaraa Rukiye’ (Parvarish), ‘Aati Rahengi Baharen’ (Kasme Vaade), ‘Nazar Lage Na Sathiyon’ (Des Pardes, ‘Dekh Mausam Keh Raha Hai’ (Duniya Meri Jeb Main) and ‘Uthe Sab Ke Kadam’ ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch’ (Baton Baton Mein). He got his major breakthrough - Love Story, with super - hit numbers like ‘Yaad Aa Rahi Hai’ and ‘Dekho Maine Dekha Hai’.

Amit is known for his work in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Page 3. He recently sang a song in the bollywood movie "Apna Sapna Money Money" titled "Dil Mein Baji Guitar". Amit Kumar has gigantic hits to his credit. His non-filmi albums like 'Mad' have shown that he is an ace composer and an innovative singer just like his father.

Upcoming singer Safa Khan shared the stage with Amit Kumar…….An event “Yaad Aa Rahi Hai” was witness for real melody of ever green songs 0f Legend Kishor Kumar. Rocking performance of AMIT in the age of 65 is a talk of the town.

This was ICS presented high techno, superb stage decor & well organized event in Kuwait. The artist guests were presented with ICS mementos by main sponsors & famous actor from Arab world Dawood Hussain , who has appreciated ICS efforts in encouraging art and culture in Kuwait.
