TMCA arranged Blood Donation Camp honouring Kuwait National and Liberation Days

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA), Kuwait, one of the biggest and oldest Indian associations in Kuwait duly registered with the Embassy of India and FIMA serving the most needy people at large irrespective of caste, color, creed etc. arranged a special Blood Donation Camp honoring the auspicious occasions of Kuwait's National Day and Liberation Day on Sunday, the 25th February 2018 from 07.30 a.m. till 01.00 p.m. at Central Blood Bank in Jabriya.

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) and its members, especially its Co-ordination Council under the guidance of its Executive body, dedicated themselves volunteering Camp activities and most notably, members of other brotherly Associations extended their support with enthusiasm honoring the occasions.

The donors started to donate blood since 07:30 a.m. The official inauguration program commenced at 10:30 a.m. Peruvalanallur Br. A. Hidayathulla, TMCA Events Co-coordinator initiated the program and staged the maestro in administering the whole ceremony. At the outset, the holy verses recited by Master Baasil followed by its English Translation by Br. Abdul Kadir. Br. Karaikal S.M. Arif Maricar, President welcomed all guests, blood donors, members, patrons and supporters and presided over the event delivering Presidential address. In his address he spoke briefly highlighting TMCA's innumerable activities with his high vision of taking TMCA to the forefront and as a role model.

Chief Guest address delivered by Shri. Raj Gopal Singh, Dy. Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Kuwait ,Mr. Siddeeq – Managing Director of Supreme Cargo & Travels, Naser Al Mahsood PR Manager, Central Blood Bank, felicitated the event.

A special memento has been presented to Blood Bank Administration by Shri. Raj Gopal Singh Dy. Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Kuwait in the presence of TMCA Executive committee a token of Thanks and Appreciation, on behalf of TMCA for providing an opportunity to be of service here on this day who in turn reciprocated our gesture by presenting their own to TMCA which was happily accepted. Blood Bank distributed special gifts to all Donors appreciating their gesture. Around 100 of our donors turned-out to make it as a remarkable one donating blood expressing their humanitarian spirit.

Educationist, Bro. CMN Saleem who visited Kuwait at the invitation of ‘Kalvi Iyakkam’, former TMCA Presidents - Avoor Br. Mohamed Basheer, Thammampatti Br. Al-Mass Musthafa and Sholapuram Br. ‘Ramzi’ Shajahan, TMCA Advisors and heads and representatives of various brotherly Associations were present gracing this event.
Distribution of special pack of snacks to Donors, volunteer Lunch were sponsored by Mr. Siddeeq – Managing Director of Supreme Cargo & Travels, Tea and snacks by Mr. Srinivasan of M/s. Bollywood Restaurant and Breakfast to the volunteer by AlMass Musthafa.

Finally vote of thanks was delivered by Br. Sirajudeen Treasurer of TMCA. conveyed thanks to all Sponsors for their notable contribution and a Certificate of Appreciation had been presented to all Donors acknowledging their participation and support to
TMCA's noble cause.
