Youth Seminar in Kuwait on March 31st, 2018 presented by APEC

This program was facilitated by Dr. Jagat Sakshi Das which had an overwhelming response where more than 100 children and youth attended along with their parents.

Children were glued to his wonderful and impressive speech and they were attentive to every detail that required their response and action. His jovial talks were very attractive and children just spontaneously behaved that was appropriate for the forum.

He opined that just being a book worm and getting bookish knowledge simply may yield only half success whereas a person who can acquire as much knowledge as possible can be “smart” in his life and livelihood quoting example from the life of Steve Jobs (Founder Apple Inc, USA) and also a life incident of scientist Albert Einstein was quoted to iterate that there is a Super power, God behind all the material creations and that no scientist can claim to be powerful or authoritative.

He talked about how important is the mind’s power and how it has to be trained to remain focused. Vedic knowledge gives us the “mantra” – delivering the mind through regular and attentive Mantra meditation. Applying the Mantra Meditation process regularly in one’s daily life will sharpen a person’s intelligence and also guides in a taking right decisions in whichever situation or surrounding a person be.

The seminar as well included rhythm dance by the children which ultimately can be repeated by them at homes to come out of boredom and monotony and connect to the Self.

The program ended with the children eagerly registering for the “Bhagavad Gita Championship League” competition. It was observed that many new children, had attended the seminar with keen interest and expressed satisfactory feedback along with their parents.
