The Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman held a solemn Investiture Ceremony on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 in the presence of the distinguished Chief Guest Dr. Amir Ahmed, Physician KNPC and parents. The Investiture Ceremony is one of the significant occasions of the school where the newly elected senate members are officially vested with their responsibilities.

The highlight of this year’s Investiture Ceremony was the newly formed houses namely The Winners, The Leaders, The Victors and The Rulers.

The ceremonial lamp was lit by the Chief Guest escorted by the Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair. C, Vice Principal Dr. Mary Isaac, Senate Advisor Mrs. Jaya Nirmal and Senate President Ervin Castelino.

The Chief Guest invested the house mentors, the core senate members, the house captains and vice-captains with the badges of office. Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair administered the oath to the members of the senate. This was followed by an inspirational song sung by the newly elected senate as an expression of keeping their promises with unity and sincerity.

In his address the Chief Guest emphasized on the qualities of the great leader. He inspired the newly elected members of the senate to shoulder their responsibilities with vigor.

The prefects of the four houses were invested with badges by their house mentors. The Senate President gave the acceptance speech which was followed by the vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal Dr. Mary Isaac.
