Large number of Indian school students attends Inter School Photography Contest “Eternal Moments” at FAIPS DPS

In its continuous endeavour to boost the creative minds, the FAIPS DPS conducted the unique "Eternal Moments" interschool photography contest for the Indian school students. Large number of creative photographs taken by the budding cameraman of various Indian Schools in Kuwait showcased at the Inter School photography contest, which was held in a third time in a row.

Around 80 students from 7 Indian schools participated in the unique competition and exhibited their beautiful creative photos taken in their cameras. Around 160 selected photos were exhibited under various categories. The Subjected given to the students varies from Animal Kingdom, Women Power, Shots With Eyewear, Amazing Architecture, Orange Shots, Metal Mania, Chef's Room, Road and Path Photography, Bokeh Photography, New Beginning, etc.. The students captured very creative frames under each category, which was a feast to the eyes.

The exhibition was conducted in three sections as Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior. In the Sub Junior section, Mithul Sridhar, Vasudev Kattikoloth, Ben Joseph, Sooraj Suresh and T. Sanjay Karthick won 1st prices in various categories. In Juniors, Moiesha Gupta, Shreya Vinod Kumar, Rohan Mathan Olikara, Rohan Mathan Olikara and Shibani Senthilbabu won 1st prices while in Seniors section Aditya Vardini, lison Cardozo, Riddhisha Sevalkar, Ismat Fatima Khan and Sushyanth Sridhar won first prizes.

"This is the third time, we are organizing this inter school contest and this time we got very good response compared to previous year", principal Sri Anju Dheman said while congratulating the participants.

In addition to the selected photos, the school also arranged a live photography contest where they give a theme and half an hour time inside the school campus on the same day. The participants are required to take a photo from within the campus. The spot photography contest was appreciated by large number of parents and students who witnessed the colourful exhibition. The subject given were "Candid Shots of People talking on the Phone" for the Sub junior section in which Vasudev Kattikoloth from IES Bhavans won the first prize while Ben Joseph from Carmel School become the 1st Runner Up and Jeshurun Kandasamy from FAIPS is the 2nd Runner Up. For Juniors, the theme given was " Photos Of Photographers" in which Mahati Alladi from FAIPSwon the first prize while Shiza Zainab from Gulf Indian School become the 1st runner up and Moiesha Gupta from IES Bhavans the 2nd Runner Up. For seniors, the theme was "Shots of Words & Letters". Aditya Vardini from IIS won first prize while Alison Cardozo from FAIPS 1st runner up and Elton Elvis D'mello from IEAS is the 2nd runner up. All the winners received Best Spot Photographer Trophy & Certificate, Nikon D5200 DSLR, free training in Nikon School and free training session by FQ8 Team. The prizes were distributed by Mr Sunoj Nambiar, Director of IndiansinKuwait.com along with Mrs Anju Dheman and Nikon officials. The whole contest was supported by Nikon Ashraf & Co along with FQ8 team. Mrs Husena coordinated the contest.

The school also organised a workshop on wild life photography for the participating students by prominent photographer Bishara Mustafa, Mentor at Kuwait Nikon School.

IIK staff disappointed everybody I hope .
The purpose of competition not projected here.One should publish the winners photography along with their portrait photography.we know who wins the prize but for what?.Remember this is photography competition.98 stills- purpose of this article ?????
