"Cool Kids in Sunshine"- ICSK Summer Camp 2018

The Indian Community School Kuwait gave a brilliant start to the Summer Camp ‘The Sunshine 2018’ in a grand ceremony organized on Tuesday, 5th June 2018 at ICSK Senior branch.

The objective of the camp is to provide a safe and jovial atmosphere for the ‘bubble wrapped’ young generation to learn and develop their creative skills, social skills and sports skills. The camp was officially inaugurated by Mr. Ayyoob Kachery, Director, Grand Hyper Kuwait. In his address he exhorted the students that hardwork is the key to success.

He also motivated the children to get benefitted from the camp for their overall development.

The esteemed presence of Mr. Agnello Fernandez, Hon. Jt. Secretary to the ICSK Board of Trustees added charisma to the inaugural ceremony. He congratulated the students who have joined for the camp and encouraged them to take part in all activities. Dr. Sam T Kuruvilla ,Vice Principal ICSK senior and Mr. Deepak Seth, HR & Admin officer ICSK also graced the occasion with their presence.

Dr. Mary Isaac Vice Principal and Coordinator of the camp cordially welcomed the gathering. She elaborated the benefits of the camp, clearly emphasizing that the rules of the camp should be observed by all. The ‘Team Sunshine’ from ICSK was introduced by the co ordinator. The mesmerizing inaugural dance performance by the students entranced the audience. Mrs. Sabiha Altaf whole heartedly thanked the guests and gathering.

‘The Sunshine 2018’ offers variety activities and training in Yoga, Aerobics, Music, Dance, Art & Craft, Diner’s Choice etc., unplugging them from Technology. Eminent resource persons and skilled trainers will join the expert team of ICSK to engage the students on Personality development, Public speaking, Value education and Health Awareness. Several field trips of educational value and sports & games training classes are also arranged. Phase 1 of the camp is from 6th June to 6th July 2018 .

The second phase of Camp Sunshine is from 8th July to 8th August . School transportation is available for the campers. The timings are from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm. On the spot registrations can be done at the camp venue or visit www.icsk-kw.com.
