Monday, June 25, 2018

An audience of more than 250 listened with rapt attention to two amazing speakers, who mesmerized them with the power of words and expression, at a seminar “Find Your Voice” organized by Toastmasters in Kuwait on Friday, 22nd June 2018 at Gulf University of Science & Technology (GUST), Mishref. The event was sponsored by Al Mulla Insurance, Gulf Insurance Group, ‘Want It Buy It’ and ‘BodyWithShahad’.

The two speakers were the 2015 World champion of public speaking Mohammad Qahttani, who is the first person from Saudi Arabia and the first Muslim to win this championship of Toastmasters International, and Ms Aruna Ladva, a spiritual author and promoter of the yogic art of meditation and its benefits. Both the speakers demonstrated how well developed communication skills help people stand out and become leaders in their chosen fields.

Besides these speakers, the event showcased the benefits of joining Toastmasters through exemplary speeches and testimonials by members of Toastmasters International.
