Yoga Health Plus Salmiya conducted Seminar on “Health and Diet Awareness in Children” During Summer Camp at ICSK. The Topic was Empowering Kids to Lead a Healthy Lifestyle. Seminar talked about importance of Health, Diet & Exercise. The Kids were excited to do the Yoga Postures and Meditation.
The Seminar was conducted by Dr.Akhila.Vinod. “Doing Yoga with kids is fun. And it serves as a great bonding.” said Dr.Akhila.Vinod.
Yoga has been shown to improve both Physical and Mental health in children. Yoga improves Balance, Strength, Endurance, and Aerobic capacity in children. Yoga offers psychological benefits for children as well. A growing body of research has already shown that yoga can improve focus, Memory, Self-esteem, Academic performance, and Classroom behaviour, and can even reduce anxiety and Stress in children.
