All types of visit visas are valid for only one month instead of three months. However the Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs Major General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf yesterday issued another directives to the directors of all departments of Residency Affairs for the renewal of visit visas for expatriates who enter the country on various types of visit visas, for a maximum of two weeks under any humanitarian and medical reasons. They have to pay the relevant fees for the renewal.

Major General Sheikh Faisal told about strict instructions from the Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior ret. Lieutenant General Khalid Al-Jarrah and the Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham to apply the law on everyone without exception and to iron out the obstacles facing visitors to all Residency Affairs departments.

Rani Sunday, August 12, 2018 Kuwait Government give chance bring wife and children at least 3 months please. some children born and bought up here only. please give them to stay 3 months. They went for higher studies. their parents are working Kuwait still. for their holiday where these children are stay.i think Government understand our problems .let them allowed to stay at least 3 months please
deepak Saturday, August 11, 2018 @scorpio they are not talking about mothers ,sisters , must most probably of their wives and children who are staying away from them. I think you are the one who thinks they bring their mothers and sisters for nursing their children, you are wrong because what satsifaction they will get to bring their parents for nursing for three months. They are bringing hem because they are not able to visit them for years as many peoples who are working at low salaries cannot afford to go there but in once in five years atleast they get chance to bring them on visit and be together for a while. Hope you understand the emotional problems and stop supporting prasad and prabhu.

Govt. can also issue nanny visas to mother of girl to take care of new born baby, After all that is the real reason why "children" are so upset "parents" can''t visit them.
deepak Friday, August 10, 2018 If they want to curb on visit visas the period which they are talking i feel let them stop all type of visas whether it is business or visit or work visa. This country has no laws and if they have are constantly changing , with no logic one can understand as to they are upto what?

vnv Friday, August 10, 2018 Visit visas are issued for third world countries and where countries having too many expatriates in this country. We can understand its for their security. However, I suggest the Govt. should study very well the pros and cons of issuing visit visas and their validity and take necessary precautions to avoid misuse. I am sure different nationalities, individuals, business owners will have different reasons when they are applying for visit visas. Its better than regularly amending the criteria for issuing visits visas and their validities.

deepak Thursday, August 9, 2018 I think @prasad and Prabu are bachelors in staying in Kuwait, or they are just lucky to stay with their family. However they dont have right to issue statements of visit visas , which they have gone thru or not and not understanding the problem of others who can not sponcers their family would like to be with them for some months in Kuwait what is the harm when they are demanding 3 months of visit visas.
Prabhu Thursday, August 9, 2018 Totally agree with Mr. Prasad. There is no use of visit visa from now.Better they change it to business visa or purpose visa with limited validity depending on purpose.

Anil Thursday, August 9, 2018 Kuwait government will do the study again and again and I am sure they will come out with 3 month visit visa. Kuwait has all potential to turn into touristic place. Need to be liberal in visa process and make this place touristic friendly like dubai. Kuwait can earn lot of non oil revenues from outsiders and residents of this country.

Prasad Wednesday, August 8, 2018 In my opinion, Kuwait Government should abolish visit visa system completely. For professional / job related vists, only few days visa can issue, depends on the duration of the job. Kuwait is not an attractive touristic place for visit. Nothing special to visit or see.
