Kuwait's Ministry of Interior (MoI) has beefed up precautionary measures across all government bodies to ensure foolproof security and seamless traffic during the holy Islamic festival of Eid Al-Adha.
The plan is a responsive and appropriate action to address an expected spike in traffic during the holidays, the ministry's Deputy Director General for Public Relations Brigadier General Tawheed Al-Kandari said in a statement on Saturday.
He pointed out that emergency help is available around the clock and is just a quick phone call away at hotline 112, saying that travelers are guaranteed equal security at the airport as well.
Al-Kandari urged drivers to abide by traffic rules to ensure their safety, going on to wish the Kuwaiti people and leadership a blissful Eid holiday.
