SIF-Kuwait in association with Unimoni Kuwait announced the commencement of registration for the fifth edition of the Sastra Prathibha Contest (VVM Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan). Sastra Prathibha Contest (VVM Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan) is a pan India and GCC science talent hunt initiative by VIBHA in association with NCERT, HRD Ministry (Government of India) and the Department of Science and Technology (Government of India).

It is the biggest and most prestigious contest of its kind in Kuwait, with the participation of more than 4500 students from the Indian schools in Kuwait. Registration forms are available at the science department / SPC coordinator of the respective schools. Registration is strictly through the participating schools.

Registration will close on 15th October, 2018. The different categories are Junior (Class 5, 6, 7) and Senior (Class, 8, 9, 10). The SPC examination will be held on 10th January, 2019.

Two winners will be announced from each class and the distinction certificates will be awarded to the best performing students in each class. The school with maximum points based on Sastra Prathibha and Distinctions will be honored with the most prestigious ‘Acharya J.C.Bose Sastra Puraskar’.

Students enrolled will get their lifetime opportunity to meet and interact with top scientists from India. Those interested are requested to contact the science department HOD of respective schools.
