Idukki Association Kuwait (IAK) conducted it’s Family Get-together (Kudumbasangamam-2018) at Kabad on 09th November 2018. Even though weather condition was unstable, the program was remarkable due to the considerable participation of members and various arts/ sports performances by them, especially by the children.

The grand success of the program was a sign of the returning of Keralite Expats in Kuwait to their normal social life, who refrained from all the celebrations on ground of the flood affected Kerala few months back.

As a part of Idukki Association’s continued supporting activities to the flood affected people in Idukki District, a Housing Project named “Sahodharanu Oru Veedu” was launched in the program by Indo-Arab Kuwait Chapter President and Lok Kerala Sabha Member Mr. Babu Francis. The project is aimed to make new houses for the most deserved people, who lost their house in the flood. President Mr. Sunil Kumar and General Secretary Mr. Jose Thomas informed that, the construction of the first house will be started within few days and will construct minimum 3 new houses in the first stage.

Mr.Shyjith (President – Kozhikode District Association), Mr. Alex Mathew (Secretary- Kollam Jilla Pravasi Association), Mr.Joy Mundakkattu (Ex. President – Idukki Association Kuwait) and Mr.Georgie Mathew (Ex. President – Idukki Association Kuwait) delivered their felicitations on the occasion.

The program was inaugurated by President Mr. Sunil Kumar and the whole celebrations lead and coordinated by General Secretary Mr. Jose Thomas, Treasurer Mr.Bijoy Kurian, Vice President Mr. Tom Edayodi, Secretary Smt. Shamla Biju, Joint Treasurer Mr. Ajeesh Lukose and the Executive Committee Members.
