Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today: This dictum came true when ICSK Khaitan exquisitely accomplished Arts Fest - KHOJ 2018, proving once again the fact that infinite horizon of artistic talent can be exclusively explored by students during their school days. As ICSK believes that both intelligence and emotional quotients are to be balanced to make a student in to a fully developed human being, school provides equal importance to both curricular and co-curricular activities.

ICSK Khaitan proudly organized a sparkling and unforgettable Award Ceremony of Arts Fest – KHOJ 2018, a unique event with 93 events and 6634 participants, on 10th November, 2018 with great pomp and gusto, after a fortnight of highly competitive sequence of offstage and onstage competitions.

The program commenced by invoking the blessings of God Almighty followed by the National Anthems of Kuwait and India. The traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a fusion dance by Mr. Haridas, the dance teacher, made an auspicious beginning of the event.

The Principal Mr.Gangadhar Shirsath formally welcomed and honored the members of Bharatiya Sangeetha Sabha Kuwait (BASS) and introduced its President Mr. Sunil Kumar U, as the Honorable Chief Guest to the gathering. The art teacher Mrs. Saleesha’s speed painting ‘Relentless Laughter” in 5 minutes of a famous comedian Charlie Chaplin attracted everyone’s attention and made them spellbound. The Chief Guest, Mr Sunil Kumar, the president of BASS in his speech said that as music is the universal language, BASS is the only association which provides platform for all music lovers. The musical feast Cameo by BASS incorporating various instruments like violin (Mr.Balamurali), mridangam(Mr.Saneesh), tabala (Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, Vice Principal of ICSK Khaitan), flute (Mr. K I Mahadevan), keyboard (Master Harshit) along with Mrs. Sindhu Remesh (music teacher of ICSK Khaitan) was indeed mesmerizing and stunning. The cultural program comprised of dance, music, skit, recitation, mime, etc, was presented on the stage and one can see the hard work put in by students to make their event a remarkable one. The prize winners of various categories were very proud to receive their awards and certificates on the stage. The Event Management Group by the Class XI students rose to the occasion and worked untiringly towards its success of the function. The Kala Tilak and Kala Pratibha Awards were also announced for securing the maximum points in different categories.

Finally, the vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, closed the curtain of Arts Fest-KHOJ 2018, with a feeling of contentment and expectation.
