Inauguration ceremony of the NBTC Annual Sports Meet 2018-2019 was outset on 21 November 2018 at NBTC Corporate Ground, marking the beginning of humongous employee engagement program ‘Winter Carnival 2019’.
The event started with the safety moment followed by Inaugural speech by the Managing Director, Mr. K.G Abraham who stressed on the importance of sport to unite the NBTC family as “One team, One family”. The sports meet was formally inaugurated by hoisting the NBTC flag.
This was followed by the flame lighting relay and the oath by the conveners and all the participants of the sports events.
The friendly cricket match between Corporate Tigers and the Power Boys was inaugurated by The Managing Director and the General Manager of Technical Services Division playing cricket and the NBTC Family cheered the leaders for their true sportsmanship and positive inner force.
The cricket match was won by the Corporate Tigers by 10 wickets.
