Saradhi Kuwait extends its support to the Flood Victims of Kerala.

“Service to Humanity”, upholding its basic principle, Saradhi Kuwait conducted its 2nd phase of Flood Relief Fund Distribution on 7/12/2018 at Saradhi Indraprastha Hall, Mangaf.

After the devastating Flood which hit Kerala, Saradhi Kuwait had embarked into a humanitarian mission of amassing a Relief Fund of 50 Lakhs. The first Phase of distribution was done by donating 5 lakhs to the Chief Ministers Distress Relief Fund for Flood Victims.

From 80 Flood Claims received by Saradhi Kuwait, a detailed evaluation was conducted to assess the actual damage and a proportionate Relief Fund was distributed to 40 Flood victims during the function.

The President of Saradhi Kuwait, Mr. Sugunan. K.V presided the function and the General Secretary, Mr. K.R. Aji delivered a welcome speech elaborating the Flood relief activities of Saradhi Kuwait. The Cheque distribution was inaugurated by Mr. Mathews Varughese, General Manager of BEC Exchange Co who is the current Annual Sponsor for Saradhi Kuwait.

It was announced that the third phase of Flood Relief distribution for the remaining Claims received by Saradhi Kuwait, is planned on a district level basis in Kerala.

The fourth phase would be the ambitious Housing Development Project of Saradhi Kuwait for deserving Flood victims whose houses were completely destroyed by the Floods. The Flood Relief Committee Convener Mr. Sajeev Narayanan announced that the inauguration of Housing Development Project shall be done during Saradheeyam-2018, the 19th Anniversary Grand Function of Saradhi Kuwait, scheduled on 21st December 2018.

Felicitations were delivered during the function by BEC Marketing Manager Mr. Ram Das, NORKA Director Mr. Ajith, Saradhi Trust Chairman Mr. Suresh & Vanitha Vedi Chairperson Mrs. Radha Gopinath. The function was concluded by a vote of thanks by Saradhi Treasurer Mr. Biju.C.V.
