Indian Dentists Alliance releases Oral Health Guide and Patient Handbook in Kuwait

Indian Dentists’ Alliance in Kuwait released the 6th Volume of IDAK Oral Health Guide – ‘Dental Specialties Defined’ and Dental Patient Handbook in a glittering ceremony on 14th December 2018 at The Regency Kuwait.

Secretary General of Kuwait Institute of Medical Specialization Dr. Ibrahim A Hadi, Director of Dental Administration, Ministry of Health Dr. Taleb Al Sarraf, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University, Dr. Adel Al Asfour, Second Secretary of Indian Embassy Mr. Ranveer Bharati and other dignitaries from Ministry of Health, Kuwait University, Kuwait Dental Association, higher management of different companies sponsoring IDAK, Principals from various Indian Schools, Executive members of various associations were present during the event. General Secretary Dr George P Alex welcomed the audience while President Dr. Shaheer Malik enumerated the achievements of IDAK in past twelve years.

Chief Editor Dr. Rino Roy introduced the latest Oral Health Guide, while Community Welfare Committee Chairman Dr. Prathap Unnithan handed over the Patient Handbook for release. Former President Dr. John Joy Manappallil, was awarded the prestigious, ‘IDAK Dentist of the Year Award’. Platinum Sponsor Al Sayafe Medical Co, Diamond Sponsor Advanced Technology Solutions, Gold Sponsor KDD, Silver Sponsors CBK & Al Mulla Exchange , Premium Sponsors Taiba Hospital, Doha Bank and Infiniti were felicitated during the event. Vice President Dr. Seema Samuel proposed the vote of thanks.



The official function was followed by a cultural extravaganza organized by the Cultural Committee headed by Dr. Aysha George. In one of the best variety cultural show ever presented in Kuwait, IDAK members and families dazzled on the stage with fabulous dances, innovative shadow play, intriguing micro drama, a creative fashion show and a riveting grand finale, which left the audience spell bound.

The MCs for the event were Dr. Reeby Sara Thomas, Dr. Maya Philip, Dr. Anand Rangan and Dr. Amritha Geevarghese. The eventful evening came to a close with a sumptuous buffet dinner. IDAK Council thanked the esteemed sponsors, Royal Jezzaf Printers, Tag Events, The Regency management, IDAK Committee members, volunteers and participants for organizing a perfect show.
