Vanithavedi-Kuwait Mega Annual Event “Neelambari 2019”

Vanithavedi-Kuwait will be celebrating its Mega Annual Event “Neelambari 2019”, the cultural bonanza for the year 2019 on 1st February 2019 at Nottingham British School, Abbasiya.

The day long program will start with Thiruvathira Competition, the traditional dance form of Kerala from 9.00 am followed by the Inaugural Cultural Meeting. Several Ethnic art forms are lined up thereafter to be concluded with musical evening by renowned playback singer and violinist Smt. Roopa Revathi.

Right from its inception in the year 2000, Vanitha Vedi has always been in the forefront among the Indian Community with its various cultural as well as charity programs. Being a secular unity, Vanithavedi aims to bring together the Indian Women in Kuwait to look over onto the society, develop social commitment, responsibility and to serve as a common platform to flourish their hidden talents.

Apart from the previous major projects such as construction of Observation Ward at SAT Hospital, Trivandrum and Construction of Pediatric Outpatient Ward at ICH Hospital, Kottayam, reiterating vanithavedi’s social responsibility and commitment, the recent project was providing Drinking Water for Elaichivazhi tribal village of Puthur Gramapanchayath at Attapady, Kerala. Group Dance Competition with the theme Women Empowerment has been organized for ladies as a part of Neelambari 2019. Vanithavedi Kuwait invites entries from ladies from all over Kuwait to participate in the same.
