Why should children have all the fun ???????

The staff of Salmiya Indian Model School ( SIMS ) enjoyed a memorable picnic to Messila Beach on 2, February,2019. The picnic aimed not only relaxation but also building up team spirit among staff members.

The staff picnic is an important annual ritual at SIMS and it is well organized and well planned with lots of activities, fun games, sumptuous food and good music.

Members of the SIMS staff made their way to the famous Messila beach early morning with a prayer and a feeling of a great day ahead. During the journey in the bus the teaching and the non-teaching staff had a lots of fun singing, dancing, joking and laughing. At the beach they were divided into various groups for the fun games organised by the entertainment committee. The games played were innovative and interesting helping the participants to bond better with each other. The staff members were then served with snacks and tea followed by a dancing round and Antakshri competition and then a game of volley ball, throw ball and kho-kho. The day came to an end with a delicious lunch buffet presented to the SIMS staff followed by a group photo.

The teachers at SIMS strive hard for the perfection of their students throughout the year. Through such staff appreciation programmes, SIMS management gives an opportunity to the teachers to get rejuvenated and helps them to interact, integrate and bond with each other in a better way, cherishing the pride of being a member of the SIMS family.
