Ministry of Health has collected over 110 million dinars in health insurance from expatriates for the year 2018.
According to report, 62.5 million dinars were collected in cash and 41 million dinars through the state revenue stamps machines available at the health insurance centers in Fahaheel, Al-Sabah Hospital, Farwaniya, Jahra and Jabriya.
KD 107,600 collected through regular stamps and KD 192,000 through the K-Net. The sources said KD 5.6 million was collected from government bodies in which employees’ residencies are renewed, at KD 50 per expat.
Report also added that the sums collected are transferred immediately to the account of the ministry by the contracting company.
