Indian Cultural Society (ICS) organised an evening of music with Playback Singer, iconic judge in The Voice (Music reality Show on Star Plus) & stage performer Harshdeep Kaur.
Highly professional team Indian Cultural Society had received Harshdeep & her band with warm welcome followed by meet & greet session with respected sponsors & ICS family members. Harshdeep was accompanied with young co singer & contestant of reality show, The Voice, Sumit Saini. As usual the event started with the prayer song, national anthem & welcome remark by ICS President Ashfaque A Khan . Kuwait’s own talent Jameel Meer sang a beautiful song. Souvenir was released by main sponsors, co sponsors, & senior citizen cum business tycoon.
They not only graced the evening but also appreciated the leadership & high rank quality events organised by Ashfaque Khan. Upcoming singer SAFA Khan sang a song & set complete musical mood for all. The concert began with the direct entry of verastile singer Harshdeep Kaur in sufi style & enthralled the audience by her Magical Voice. Sufi Singer has rocked the stage nonstop for 3 hours with her dynamic band & co singer Sumit Saini. She sang her famous and hit songs; “Ik Onkar” from Rang De Basanti, “Heer Heer”, Katiya Karun from Rockstar, ,”Zaalima” from Raees, “Nachde Ne Saare” from Baar Baar Dekho, “Kabira” from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, “Jugni ji” from Cocktail, “Dilbaro” from Raazi ,"Chamba Kitni Duur”, "Sajna Main Haari", "Jaisi Teri Marzi"& "Mere Vich Teri" followed by her other hits including Punjabi folk, devotional, fusion, classical, semi classical, filmy and non-filmy albums. She also sang the songs requested & demanded by the audience.
Harshdeep mesmerized an enthusiastic jam packed crowd till end. The crowd enjoyed the interaction with her. It was an evening of delightful music and music for a cause. The stage setting and light effects were magnificent. Harshdeep & Sumit Saini spent a little time after the concert interacting with music lovers and their fans at the local press & Kuwait TV channel.
The event was blessed & Souvenir was released in the presence of senior citizens & business tycoons. They spoke about the Indo Kuwait friendship and contribution of India to the world. They resolutely appreciated the efforts taken by ICS to promote art & culture along with campaign for “Noble Cause & Welfare Services”. ICS presents high techno production, beautiful and well appreciated quality stage decor & well organized events in Kuwait since years.
The artists were presented with ICS mementos. Team ICS ensured their best hospitality, tight security & smooth execution of the event. ICS president expressed his gratitude to all the executives of ICS, Volunteers, Supporters, Techno staff, Media & Press wings.
The audiences cheered every time they appeared on the giant LED screen and their cheer reverberated in the venue.
