According to local newspaper, this proposal is aim to deal with the population structure. Several executive measures on iqama trafficking and Kuwaitization are planned as part of this, reports added.

The plan also envisages stopping granting licenses for some professions and dealing with some communities whose numbers have grown too much. The sources said it was agreed to hold the meeting during the month of Ramadan, and it will include agreeing on the plan and the legislations it requires to be eventually presented to the National Assembly.

I dont know from where they get silly ideas, indemenity is the right of the employee and this should be settled if a person he or she resigns or terminated. For e.g. i was working with reputed bank of the company i was astonished that bank took me to shoon and ask me to sign papers that i have received indemenity and all dues and later i got the idenmenity . what type of law is that once you sign before receiving and tommorrow they refused to give what a employee can do , sure nothing but go home empty handed what type of law is this?

Kindly analyze the ground realities. Recently even reputed private companies did not pay the indemnity to most of the resigned or terminated employees. Though some employees filed case, majority left Kuwait without filing case. Some companies owned by very rich people also trying for bankruptcy; so they need not pay employee benefits. Many people suffering very badly as they could not get their service benefits which is the only saving for their retired life!!! But who cares here ??

I think this is wrong message by iik, there is no any news in Arabic newspapers except about clarifying issues of indemnity who’s over 65 years old age ( till under study ) which is issued at Al Qabas newspaper on 25/7/2018.

Once employee is departed, Any company can say employee did not furnish paper work or some issue not to settle the indemnity. Such a step only gives rise to frauds and poor employees suffers. Also can''t change job. This is really going to be harsh blow.

Just they are allowing companies to skip indemnity.
The person who is going to leave country, and company don''t want pay indemnity, they drag on with excuses, and expat cannot stay here with out salary. Expats have to finish with in 3 months temp visa. .....
