300th Meeting Celebration of South Kuwait Toastmasters Club

South Kuwait Toastmasters Club had celebrated its 300th meeting on the auspicious evening of 22nd April 2019 at Abu Halifa, Kuwait.

South Kuwait Toastmasters Club with their tagline “Where We Learn Practice and Master….” is following the vision and mission of Toastmasters International; a non-profitable organization; established by Ralph C Smedley, to improve the communication and leadership skills. It is the 14th club of Kuwait, chartered on 11th September 2006. SKTM is glorified by the active participation of 10 out of 13 past Presidents; conduct club meetings on every 2nd and 4th Monday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM in presence of clusters of motivated Toastmasters guided by striving mentors.

The celebration occurred in the presence of District 20 Officials - District Program Quality Director DTM Wafaa Salman, Division E Director DTM Nachupally Ramkumar and Area 18 Director TM Rana Aloush. Ceremony was opened by the President of the Club Toastmasters Arumoy Das. Welcoming the dignitaries, President handed over the event control to most mesmerizing master of ceremony; one of the most promising Toastmasters Adlen D’Souza. Meeting was crafted with the interesting prepared speech session, table topic session and celebrations.

Ceremonial Cake was cut in presence of the dignitaries and club Executive Members. VP PR Toastmasters Subrata Kumar Bhukta released the most awaited newsletter in presence of President TM Arumoy Das, VP Education TM Nilesh Attarde, VP Membership TM Mrinmoy Roy, Secretary N G Ravi Kumar and Sergeant-at-Arms TM Bhaskaran.

SKTM past presidents and district dignitaries shared their memories with the club. TM Muthu Kumaran the Charter President, District Officers and Past Presidents DTM VSK Shenoy, TM Ganeshan, TM M R Rajendran, TM B V Prabhakar and TM Aruna Manikavasagam presented the felicitation speech. The Celebration became memorable with the speech of Gavelier Aparna Radhakrishnan who was a member of run Teentalkers and Noble Gavel clubs mentored and coordinated by South Kuwait Toastmasters Club.

The meeting ended with a delicious dinner and presenting the commemorative gift.
