Bhavan’s SIS new Council Members take oath

Bhavan’s Smart Indian School, Kuwait held its Investiture ceremony in its colossal auditorium to invest power to the newly appointed Council Members for the academic session 2019-2020. The day turned out to be the most significant one for the new council members who took oath. The investiture ceremony was graced by Mr. Ali Johar – Head Inspector, Educational activities; Ministry of Pvt. Education, Guests of Honor – Mr. Nabil Gomaa, Inspector, Educational activities; Ministry of Pvt. Education and Ms. Hanaa Al Enazi – Inspector, Social Services; Ministry of Pvt. Education, Mrs. Rathi Ravindran – Principal Jack & Jill Mangaf, Mr. Mahesh Iyer – Principal SIS, Ms. Rajni Menon – KG Supervisor, Ms. Albin Daisy – Vice Principal SIS, Ms. Shaima Zaki – Administrative Manager and HODs of all the departments. The day was also brightened up with the presence of parents, students and staff.

It was a solemn occasion which began with the marching of the members to the stage in sync with the mighty music which reflected the perfect aura. The graceful time kicked off with Kuwait National Anthem followed by the recital of verses from the Holy Quran. The moment turned a blessed one with the word of prayer in English. The unified spirit of the students flared high with the singing of the school anthem in unison. A warm welcome was given by the Head Boy of the school to the gathering. The moment glided into the most important minutes when the students were conferred with badges and to name a few there were Head Boy/Girl (Junior and Senior), Student Editors, Cultural Secretaries, Sports Captain, House Captains and Class Prefects. A new sense of responsibility and dutiful spirit soared when they received their newly formed titles from the dignitaries.

The students were filled with enthusiasm and excitement as the sashes shimmered across them. With the responsibilities placed on their shoulders, the students took oath with vigor as they are now made role models for the school to emulate. A strong affirmation to the new rules was witnessed as the Head Boy and Head Girl read out their acceptance speech.

The magnificent ceremony also witnessed the most prestigious moment for the students who excelled in academics for the year 2018-2019. The proficiency holders were awarded by the dignitaries of the day and it turned into a memorable moment for the awardees and an elevated moment for the parents who witnessed their children receiving awards on stage. The Chief Guest who addressed the gathering stressed on the qualities of leadership and spoke on how passionate involvement towards work can help a team to reach the zenith of success. The inspiring message motivated the audience to mull over the speech. The Cultural Secretary extended gratitude to the assembled in her vote of thanks. The ceremony came to an end with the Indian National Anthem.

The jubilant and energetic students marched away to assume their new roles.
