Carmel School, Kuwait enhanced its golden glory by reaping a rich harvest in the AISSCE 2019 held during its Golden Jubilee Year. As tradition holds, the school secured centum pass this year too and carved a niche for itself in the State. The unyielding efforts of the students, constant support of the management, dedicated guidance of the teachers and the unswerving assistance of the parents have borne fruit. 101 students in total appeared for the examination and 28 of them scaled the height of 90% and above in aggregate. Priya Elizabeth Thomas (Commerce) secured the First Rank with an aggregate of 96% while Mohitha Thakur and Yunus Ali (Science) stood second scoring 95.80%. Sharon Philip Jain (Science) stood third with an aggregate of 95.60%. Nichelle Mary Mendes obtained 100 marks in Informatics while several others scored 99 marks in Computer Science and Economics.

“My heart exalts God and my gratitude to Carmel knows no boundaries,” commented Priya, the Kuwait Topper in Commerce stream, in great jubilation. The management, staff, students and parents are in high spirits as the school celebrates this incredible victory. It is indeed yet another glorious milestone of Carmel and this great achievement of the students is a feather in its cap in the Golden Jubilee year. The Management congratulated and thanked the students, teachers and parents for their invaluable efforts and contributions in taking the institution to this stature. The Carmel family places on record its sincere appreciation and best wishes to all the students of the 2019 batch of Grade XII for their outstanding scholastic success in the Board Examination. May the victorious flag of ‘Excelsior’ continue to fly high and savour greater victories in the years to come! Kudos to Carmelites!

Congratulations on the brilliant performance, dear Carmelites. So proud of my niece, Carol Gonsalves, and fondly remembering my aunt, Sr. Irmina, who was one of the founders of Carmel School. May the school flag keep flying high!
