In the fine memory of 14th May 2019, Integrated Indian School commemorated the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2019-20. Investiture ceremony is one of the most paramount days of a school academic year, as on this day the freshly elected members of the student council are officially bestowed with the duties they are expected to fulfill and take up the role of a leader.
The ceremony preceded with the recitation of the verses of Holy Quran and the Kuwait National Anthem. The event was graced by Dr. S. Chidambaram, Research Scientist, Water Research centre, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, as the Chief Guest and Mr. Anil Mehrotra, Director of IIS. The guests were felicitated by the Principal, Mr. Arul Dharmaraj Thomas.
It was a beautiful sight to see the student cabinet members march with great pride and honour. The students were then badged followed by oath taking .the speech by Dr. Chidambaram was very inspiring for the students. It was indeed a proud moment for everyone in IIS as we witnessed our students turning into leaders of tomorrow.
