Indian Embassy publish list of companies to be avoided while seeking employment in Kuwait

Indian Embassy publish list of companies to be avoided while seeking employment in Kuwait on their website.

In two separate lists, published on the Indian Embassy website, Embassy lists around 18 India based recruitment agencies to be avoided while looking for recruitment to Kuwait.

Embassy also lists out around 90 Kuwaiti companies and sponsors which embassy advices to avoid while seeking employment opportunity in Kuwait.

The list is prepared based on various observations, embassy said on its website. The full list is available at http://indembkwt.gov.in/Pages/EmbBan.aspx

There were many instances of Indians falling victim to the fake recruitment. This involves fake recruitment agencies in India as well as some companies in Kuwait. The recent instance involves around 35 youths from Mangalore, who are stranded in Kuwait after they were allegedly cheated by a placement agency. They were promised jobs in Kuwait by a Mangalore based Agency after charging Rs 65,000 from each person. Many such cases were reported here earlier too. In the wake of such instances, Indian Embassy publishing the list of recruitment agencies and companies to be avoided by the job seeker will help to create some sort of awareness among the job seekers.

Hello my Brothers & Sisters,
I am here in Kuwait from past two years, working in Kuwait, got to learn many new things here. Talking to my countryman i got to hear lot of Good things, as well as their sad stories related to the employment and pay.

As, i am working in an electrical department of a construction company, we have many electricians and helpers, working with designation as Electricians & Technician Labors. One day i was chit-chatting with the oldest electrician on our site, who is been working with this company from past 15 years.

Some of the things he said, "We came here on a contract visa many years back with salary of 150KD (Room rent of 20 + Food expenses to be paid by individual), now 15 years have passed, still there is no increment. neither can we apply in other companies as our company do not provide transfer for contract workers. That is so bad, i replied. when i asked about his plans for resettling down in India, he had a defeated look on his face as if, a donkey has to carry the burden double to his weight on his shoulder thought his life :(

This is just one example i felt like sharing today, how some of our India brothers are stuck in Kuwait with Low salaries, Leaving the life of Poor and saving every single penny, to send to home so that their families have good roof to live under, good food to eat on table, so that kids can go to school and complete college, so that all in family may Live the Normal India Life

Just One Note i will like to write on to Indian Embassy: Please help our people, all are our brothers and sisters as our Pledge reminds us.
I have notice on the Embassy of India page that the Minimum Wages Schedule was last revised in January, 2016 and the expenses are increased enormously in relation with Medical charges, Food & Rent Expenses, Not Just in Kuwait but also in India with the rising Inflation Rate and the families are directly dependent on the wages of the person working here. Our respected Prime Minister has been launching various schemes and facilities for the development of the society and he has really done a Great Job and I feel if you''ll keep the matter of "Revision of Wages" when the Minister of External Affairs come to Kuwait, they will really be happy to do the same. Please do this Guys!
Thousand Thanks to all the reader for taking your time. Lets do something in Kuwait for are fellow brothers & Sisters.

People from India are coming to Kuwait to earn and support themselves and their dependents. If the company does not pay salary, yearly increment and bonus, nor provide transportation and accommodation ... there is no one to hear. Even if the employee wishes to take sick leave the clinic and hospital visiting expenses are more than a days salary. The expenses are high and increasing everywhere and the daily wages are not meeting the needs! They will surely live till they die with their health in life! And many still continue to come to the nation seeking better opportunities every day! Life is understood when you face the situation working in the company!

Am working under one company as a staff nurse, when i submitted my resignation they rejected and asked me to pay 2000kd. They pointed tgey are not having no any enough staff to replace my post in hospital. Whomever resigning from the company noone is getting any benefits moreover they stressed us to sign in paper as we recieved all indemnity from ministry. They deducting amount from money from our salary for our return ticket(company supervisors and HR Dept deduct extra amount than that showing in onlie an extra amount of 50kd) even we are not allowed to take our own ticket. I humbly request to Indian Embassy to stop all Nursing Recruitments through these cheating companies.

Very very good and information by Indian Embassy.
There are many Medical Clinics and Medical Centers and Home Care Centers who are not paying salaries properly, not giving release though the employee is eligible, not giving NOC against licences etc.. not paying leave salary etc.. Honorable Embassy to consider the complaints received against medical centers and clinics and home care centers by their employees. Thank You
